This past weekend, My brother treated his groomsmen to a Bills game in Buffalo, NY. For those reading my site that don't follow football really closely, the Bills played the worst game ever. No, really. It was terrible. The weekend was good (aside from the being in Buffalo thing). Though I won't recount details here, thus keeping the mystery of the boys weekend away a mystery.
I picked up a digital camera roughly the size of a postage stamp (okay, a big one) because I forgot to take a real camera, and I figured what the hell? To sate Joe's curiosity as to how the pictures my 'always handy' camera would turn out (I was deeply curious myself), I'm gonna post them. And in the future, I'll take a real camera to such an event, as I'd be hard pressed to say it took good pictures. I think half of them would've turned out tolerably were I a better shot, and learn to aim a little left of where I think the camera's aiming.
I apologize for the pictures taking so long to load. Since the main point of this article is to show just how good/bad the pictures the camera took were, I haven't compressed them for the web at all.
So, on with the show.
The Americans have a deeply distorted definition of 'Natural'. We found 'All-Natural' Cheetos. The All-Natural Doritos weren't nearly as unbelievable.
Miserable failure #1. Let's pretend this is a pic of the jumping Buffalo nightlife. Since I can't actually see anything going on, it's a pretty accurate representation.

Suicide Wings. These made me cry. They were hot. I'd have finished them though, had I not loaded up on medium and bbq wings.
Miserable Failure #2. This is a free-standing Fire alarm standing on the street. Only in Buffalo.
Miserable Failure #3. I have no idea.
This was taken during the hike from the van to the stadium. And had I held the camera straight, would be the first decent picture.
This is the first picture that clearly shows the camera has a tendency to veer right, as I thought I'd nicely framed the stretch Hummer. Driving through Buffalo, and then seeing this drove home the economic gap in the US.
I don't know why there's a stadium facing the real stadium. But there is, and I actually managed to frame it correctly.
Wow. What a tiny field. Deeply underwhelming. And 4 downs are for the weak!
Miserable Failure #4. It takes 2 button presses to take a picture. They must've happened in my pocket. Or I missed the total eclipse.

I think the small blurry objects taking the field are players. The seats were actually quite good, though I never did get a good look at the Buffalo Offensive line.
This...is a Juggalo. This...is white trash. This...is what surrounded us in the stands. Since this group of miscreants I'd only heard about online are real, I now must face the facts that Furries probably exist too.
I think I managed to snap a picture of the one touchdown we got to see up close. If you strain your eyes really hard, you can see that it's not Buffalo scoring.
I'm not sure what horribly exciting moment I was capturing here. I'll play the odds though, and say it was either Buffalo fumbling the ball, or Drew Bledsoe throwing a perfect spiral pass to a Miami player. Wait! Now I remember. There was a fight in the stands. I can't make it out though.
No trip to Buffalo would be complete without seeing a firetruck on its way to an arson.
