So 4 Resident Evil had a stupid name (note: that is not a typo, it is called 4 Resident Evil), and Residen5t Evil is even stupider (again, not a typo).

The next game in the Resident Evil series had better be called RESIDENT EVIL, or heads are gonna roll.

I have been repeatedly told that I am not an easy person to shop for, usually around Christmas. Probably only because birthdays aren't generally something my family shops for. In part, I can usually understand this. Lacking any control of my buying impulse, I usually have things I want, almost immediately. And no money, ever.

Having been rebuked for this several years ago (the being hard to shop for, not the lack of a thrifty bone on my body) I've tried to make an effort to curtail my spending around the holidays at least somewhat. And this year, I'm having more success than usual, what with the lack of income.

I've been tasked with coming up with a Christmas list for those who want to get me something, even in the knowledge that I'm likely to mostly give people hugs for Christmas this year. Here's a wish list with Amazon.ca that's got a whole bunch of stuff that I would not be adverse to obtaining at some point. Update: Bah...apparently I can't link directly to it. I've linked to a bunch of BluRay movies, but do not own a BluRay player. Unless you know I'm getting one (which seems unlikely), substitute the DVD. I also already own the Pirates Trilogy on DVD, so just scratch that one off the list. I don't particularly need socks, but could use some boxers, but if that sounds like something you'd buy me, talk to me first...I'm picky. I need dress shirts, and if someone wants to buy me another suit jacket or two, that'd be swell. Money always works.

On a related note, if anyone has suggestions about gifts for a 6(ish) month old girl, feel free to tell me. I think she has more clothes than she can even theoretically wear before she's outgrown everything, so I think that's out.
