For the approximately 0 of you...
On the off chance anyone reads this page, but doesn't look in my forums, I'll just briefly mention that I updated the game for the first time in 2 months. As usual, running the game will automatically update it (and because I still haven't figured out how to make it smarter during said updates, the download is now up to 6MB). That is all.
On the list of things...
...that one doesn't expect to find while mowing their lawn, an 8-ball has to rank pretty high.
BEHOLD!
Forgive the picture quality, but I lack a real camera:

The Alpha and the Omega
So I haven't gotten a whole lot of feedback on my ongoing attempts to program a game. So I'm repeating the request/plea: Download my game! Test it! Let me know if it works or if it doesn't. Here is absolutely everything involved (29.3MB). If you already have the .NET Framework installed, here is a zip file containing everything you should need (2.3MB). If you previously downloaded the game, and successfully installed it, it should be able to update itself automatically. No, the game is nowhere near complete, but it should at this point be in a state that at least resembles playable. We'll call it an early alpha.
I never update this.
And no one really cares.
Nothing of note to...note.
Echo!
A request
I have been working on this on and off (as j can no doubt attest, more off than on), for a very long time now. It's slowly coming together, but I need it tested. Specifically, the SwitchTiles function. Just move the trap door tile around, and hit Debug to make sure it's reporting that it's in the right place. Also, in light of the last time I asked anyone to test it, let me know if absolutely nothing appears on the screen.
Maybe Not.
Well, scratch the maybe.
I am hooked on Richard Cheese.
Maybe?
So I got together tonight with J, Alex, Shmingers and Heather...went out to a Korean BBQ place down on Yonge Street. I've got a possible lead on a job, but I need to get more info before I commit to anything. Still, it's a start.
And so, it comes to an end
So yesterday was my last real day at Dell. Today is my official last day of employment there, but it doesn't really count. It was mostly fun.
Also, I got a Pentium 4 with a 17" lcd for $75. That's pretty cool.
It's a girl!
As of 12:30ish this morning, I'm an uncle!
Weighing in at 8lbs, 9oz, Sydney Crystal Little has arrived. I won't actually get to hold her until roughly June 28th...I can't wait!
Brrrrrrrrr!
This is a test. This is only a test. In the event of an actual post, I would have something interesting to say.
So!
Boot to the head!
Also, I appear to be breaking out in hives, after spending most of the afternoon in a cat-infested house.
It's official!
There is more than an entire year's worth of posts on this page, and I haven't extended to have it show 900 posts at a time.
Nothing much worth posting about, it would seem.
Merry Christmas
Sorry, but my job has left me absolutely, 100%, not in the spirit this year.
